International Trade and Finance Association Conference Papers
The International Trade and Finance Association is devoted to promoting research and study relating to all aspects of the global economy. Founded in 1989, IT&FA has members in more than 30 countries. Many members are academics with backgrounds in economics, finance, business, law, political science and related disciplines. Others are professionals associated with various international economic institutions, central banks, and other government institutions.
IT&FA also sponsors the Global Economy Journal, an electronic journal published by Berkeley Electronic Press. This innovative, peer-reviewed journal that strives to disseminate top-quality research and analysis rapidly to academics and professionals interested in the global economy.
IT&FA holds sessions in conjunction with the Allied Social Science Association (ASSA) each January and an international conference in May. In 2007, the association will hold its 17th international conference in Miami, Florida. For details, see http://www.ohio.edu/itfa/.
