About the Wilson Festschrift
May 2002
Over a long and successful career, Bob Wilson has made many important contributions to economic theory. And indirectly, as a devoted and influential mentor to generations of students at Stanford, he has made additional important contributions to economics. In honor of his 65th birthday, this festschrift contains many of these latter contributions, by his students. These include some of the most influential economics articles of the past 30 years, along with specially written prefaces that explain the origins of these articles and Wilson's influence on them. This volume is, thus, of interest to anyone seeking to understand the course of game theory and related topics over the past 30 years through some of the most important papers written by the students of the leading applied game theorist of the 20th century.
